Creation date 2001
Par 72

The founders of this course are Sam Torrance and Gene Sarazen, who built this course in 2001 and later in 2008 was reconstructed to ensure better drainage. The golf course is built on a cliff top and offers incredible views of the bay in St. Andrews and Carnoustie. Torrance is a championship golf course and is the venue for the Open Championship qualification and was also host of the Scottish Senior Open Championship. Structure of course is typically Scottish. We can find here rugged terrain, dangerous bunkers, sandy dunes and high vegetation. Perfectly prepared double greens are a guarantee of premium quality. Due to the fact that the course is the scene of many competitions, it is therefore intended rather for more experienced golfers. Torrance together with Kittocks are part of the five-star resort Fairmont.
